Do not stop taking Xarelto for the duration of your menstrual period. Although bleeding may be increased or prolonged during this medicine, this is not an indication to stop treatment. If menstrual bleeding during Xarelto treatment is accompanied by symptoms such as weakness, dizziness and headache, pallor, shortness of breath, swelling or chest pain, treatment should be stopped and medical attention sought immediately.
