Can there be bleeding and spotting after ellaOne?

Good morning. I took an EllaOne tablet on March 13. The day I took it I had very slight bleeding, then brown bleeding, then something similar to withdrawal bleeding and now I have brown bleeding again (one sanitary pad is enough for the whole day). Is this normal? All this has been going on for 8 days now. Blood pregnancy test negative.

One of the side effects reported with ellaOne is irregular spotting and bleeding. Irregular spotting and bleeding may persist until the end of the cycle. In the event that the bleeding does not go away or intensifies, I encourage you to consult a doctor. You can also use the teleadvice offered, m.in. by the Gdziepolek.pl portal: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja I enclose a link to check the availability of ellaOne and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/87820/ellaone-tabletki/apteki I encourage you to report the occurrence of side effects of ellaOne.
