Hello.
For 1.5 years I have a PAP 3 cytology result, a month ago I had a test for HPV and I have HPV 16 positive. Today the gynecologist called me and said that my cytology result came, again PAP 3 and prescribed me medicines that I have to pick up at the pharmacy. As it turned out, these are Dalacin vaginal cream, which I have to apply for 6 days, and then Ovestin, until the next visit( in 3 weeks). However, I am concerned that according to the leaflet of the drug Dalacin is a cure for bacterial infections, and I do not have such (I had tests at the beginning of September and everything negative - I attach a screen from the results page).
At the moment I have no way to contact the doctor, because today she is no longer admitted, only on Thursday. I read that this drug can cause vaginal candidiasis, hence my concerns. Should I use it (I should from today) or is it better to consult on Thursday?
