When switching from Atywia to Syndi, can I skip the last Atywia tablet?

Hello, I am currently taking birth control pills atywia. Today, however, the doctor prescribed me Syndi. The problem is that I have to take another Atywi tablet today because it is day 21. Unfortunately, I do not have this tablet, I lost it. The question is: can I take a 7-day break and go to Syndi without taking the last tablet of Atyvia?

Yes, you can take a 7-day break and go to Syndi without taking the last Atywia tablet and the protection will be preserved. The 7-day interval between active tablets of Atywia and Syndi should not be extended, because then the protection will be reduced. I enclose a link to a helpful entry: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje Here you can check the availability of Syndi tablets in pharmacies and make a reservation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/76481/syndi-35-drazetki/apteki
