Discontinuation of contraceptive patches - what to do?

Hello, on Wednesday and Thursday I did not have a patch on me (it peeled off and I did not have with me to stick a new one). Friday was the day when I should peel it off due to my period. In this situation, after a week, can I stick a new patch and as if nothing happened? Should I do something extra or different?

If the patch has detached and the patch is interrupted for more than 24 hours, the protection against pregnancy may be weakened. Stop the current cycle and start a new cycle by sticking a new patch. Thus, a new day for changing the patch will be set. In addition, an additional, mechanical method of contraception (e.g. a condom) should be used for the next 7 days. You can read more about how to use contraception correctly in the text: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje Below is also a link to a page with details about the Evra contraceptive patch, allowing you to track the availability and booking of the patches online: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/28646/evra-system-transdermalny/apteki
