Does Slinda increase the risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE)?

Slinda and embolism. For 2 years I have been taking the drug slinda intermittently. Before the start of drug treatment, the result of D dimers indicated 60 (norm from 0-500), a year later 250 and today the result showed 465. Apparently, the result is still within the norm. But why is it growing every year? Can slinda increase this result?

Single-component tablets such as Slinda are characterized by safety and low risk of causing thromboembolism. They are considered much safer in the context of thromboembolism risk than combined tablets containing estrogen and progestin. There are many potential causes of elevated D-dimers. An increase in concentration is observed in the elderly, in post-traumatic conditions and after surgery. It can also be the result of various diseases. The problem is complex and requires medical consultation and determination of the cause of such results. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/leki-przeciwzakrzepowe If it is not possible to visit a stationary visit, I encourage you to use the teleadvice offered, m.in. by the portal Gdziepolek.pl: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
