Is the change in withdrawal bleeding a cause for concern?
I have been using hormonal contraception for over a year now. So far, my withdrawal bleeding occurred every month on the same day and lasted about 3 days. This time the bleeding occurred 1 day later and lasted only a few hours. What could this be a sign? Is this normal?

There is no rule for the duration and abundance of withdrawal bleeding, however, with birth control pills, any bleeding disorders should be consulted with a gynecologist.
