Hello. I have been taking two capsules a day of Cartexan (2 x 400 mg) for a week and I have noticed a large increase in blood pressure, although it was regulated by the pills I have been using for several years. Can the sodium salt contained in Cartexan be the cause of my problems?

So far, Cartexan has not been reported to cause an increase in blood pressure. However, not all side effects of drugs are known and described - if you associate the start of using this drug with an increase in pressure, I encourage you to report it to your doctor. It may also be necessary to conduct a detailed interview and additional tests to determine what is the cause of the pressure increase.
