Hello. For half a year I have been taking escitil 10 on the recommendation of a psychiatrist. Today another doctor added Pregabalin Mylan 75 to me. Will there be no conflict? Best regards

Concomitant use of escitalopram (Escitil) and pregabalin (Pregabalin Mylan) is not contraindicated. However, caution should be exercised when using them concomitantly and pay attention to any disturbing symptoms. It is reported in the literature that treatment with escitalopram may sometimes cause a decrease in blood sodium levels (hyponatrema) and that use with pregabalin may increase this risk. In addition, escitalopram can cause seizures in susceptible patients, so patients who have had seizures in the past should exercise extreme caution. However, the risk of these interactions is relatively small. However, if the doctor ordering Prebalin did not know about the drugs used earlier, I encourage you to consult your doctor again.
