Does Oeparol weaken the effectiveness of Microgynon 21 birth control pills?
Hello. Do OEPAROL tablets( evening primrose seed oil) have an effect on reducing the effectiveness of microgynon 21 contraceptive pills? Is it possible to use them safely without fear that they will reduce the effectiveness of contraception?

The use of evening primrose oil (e.g. in the form of Oeparol capsules) does not reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. It does not interact with the hormones contained in the tablets.
