Somehow I suffered until the morning and in the morning I took one tablet of Poldrama and after about 40 minutes the bul subsided.

The pain will not go away immediately after taking Accordeon. Accordeon contains oxycodone, a medicine that belongs to opioids. Its action consists mainly in the abolition of pain, as well as sedation. I would like to point out that Accordeon is a prolonged-release tablet, hence you have to wait longer for the effect compared to the immediate-release form of the drug, i.e. classic tablets. In this case, the maximum concentration of oxycodone in the body appears about 3 hours after taking the Accordeon tablet. On the other hand, the effect of the drug lasts longer, which facilitates dosing and at the same time reduces the likelihood of side effects. In the described case, the dose of the drug prescribed by the doctor is not given, but taking 8 tablets per day can lead to exceeding the therapeutic doses and end up with an overdose of the drug. In a milder case, this may result in persistent constipation, however, acute overdose of oxycodone can cause myosconstriction, respiratory depression, hypotension and hallucinations. In more severe cases, circulatory failure and drowsiness may occur and progressing into stupor or worsening coma, hypotonia, bradycardia, pulmonary oedema and death. I would like to point out here that taking Poltram containing tramadol increases the risk of the above symptoms, because there is a significant interaction between these drugs and such a combination is not recommended. I would like to point out that the dosage of Accordeon should be increased gradually, not abruptly. In addition, it is a drug that is used to relieve the so-called continuous pain. If you experience breakthrough pain, i.e. episodes of severe bouts, or if your current doses of Accordeon are not effective, contact your doctor.
