Do hypertension drugs interfere with the action of Metformax 500?

I have insulin resistance. He has been taking Metformax 500 3x1 for 3 years. For a year with low hypertension I started taking tertensif Sr 1.5 mg 1x1 and recently the cardiologist joined Lercan 10mg 2x1. Do the above hypertension drugs interfere with the action of metformaxs 500?

Indapamide (a component of Tertensif) may cause metformin (a component of Metformax) to have a weaker effect. With the use of drugs containing indapamide, impaired glucose tolerance and increased blood glucose levels have been observed. Sometimes (rarely) an increase in lactic acid levels may also occur, causing side effects. Therefore, it is important to inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and to follow the dosage regimen. In your case, the best way to find out if Metformax is working properly is to measure your blood glucose. I enclose additional information about the medicines you use - they can be booked at GdziePoLek and collected stationary upon presentation of a prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/48570/metformax-500-tabletki/apteki/w-warszawie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/78204/tertensif-sr-tabletki-o-przedluzonym-uwalnianiu/apteki/w-warszawie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/43093/lercan-tabletki-powlekane/apteki/w-warszawie You may also be interested in our studies: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/nadcisnienie https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-ze-soba
