Metypred belongs to the so-called group of steroid drugs. Its main component is methylprednisolone - a substance whose main mechanism of action is to reduce the body's secretion of substances that cause and intensify inflammation. This drug is used in the treatment of many diseases, m.in rheumatic, dermatological, allergic, eye, blood or respiratory diseases. The simultaneous use of Metypred and the antibiotic Klabax can significantly increase the concentration of the former in the blood plasma. The combined use of drugs is not prohibited, but requires appropriate selection of doses. Due to the fact that the use of antibiotics is usually short-lived (usually up to 10 days), such a combination should not cause side effects. With the rest of the listed drugs, Metypred does not interact.
