As I wrote - the type of alcohol does not matter, its mixing as long as it does not lead to vomiting. If there was no vomiting - the effectiveness is preserved.
So if I mix wine with whiskey, it will not reduce the effectiveness?

The type of alcohol does not matter. It's about the amount you want to drink and the consequences that follow. In general, alcohol has no effect on reducing the effectiveness of emergency contraception or birth control pills, while its excessive consumption creates the risk of situations that can really contribute to reduced protection. Too much alcohol interferes with the ability to assess the situation, increases the chance of having unprotected intercourse or skipping a dose of the drug. In addition, drinking a large amount of alcohol, which will induce vomiting up to 2-3 hours from the moment of taking the tablet, causes reduced effectiveness, especially if in alcoholic intoxication we forget to take the next dose. Therefore, please keep this in mind and consume alcohol in reasonable quantities.
