Whether Letrox 50 and Euthyrox Can N 50 be used interchangeably?
Is Leteox 50 the same as Euthyrox 50? I got a "replacement" at the pharmacy and I don't know if I can take it.

Letrox 50 and Euthyrox N 50 are their counterparts, so they can be used interchangeably. Both medicines contain levothyroxine sodium as the active substance, one of the indications for use of which is the treatment of hypothyroidism. Letrox 50 and Euthyrox N 50 have the same content of levothyroxine sodium - 50 micrograms, are administered by the same route, have the same pharmaceutical form (tablet), the same indications and therapeutic effect. The only difference lies in the excipients - compounds that should not exert any healing effect, and are necessary to create a form of the drug - tablets. They are important for the patient only if he is allergic to something, e.g. to lactose, and must avoid medicines, foods, etc., that contain the substance. If you do not have any intolerances, you should not be concerned about using Letrox instead of Euthyrox. Please note that the pharmacist cannot dispense in the pharmacy a drug with a different composition than that prescribed by the doctor. A substitute will always mean a medicine with exactly the same active substance and dosage as the one prescribed by your doctor.
