Is it possible to undergo laser hair removal by taking Paroxinor?
Hello, is it possible to undergo laser hair removal while taking Paroxinor at a dose of 40 mg per day? Does this drug have photosensitizing properties? Getting acquainted with the contraindications to laser hair removal, I came across a mention that some antidepressants are a contraindication, as is it with Paroxinor?

According to the information contained in the Summary of Product Characteristics, Paroxinor does not increase sensitivity to UV radiation, so theoretically there are no contraindications to laser hair removal when using the above-mentioned drug. However, it is worth remembering that the occurrence of allergy may be a personal feature and therefore, although there is no such recommendation in the Characteristics, when performing laser hair removal, you should watch closely and in the event of any suspicious symptoms, it would be advisable to stop laser hair removal.
