Can more mucus when using the Ginoring disc be a cause for concern?
I have been using the Ginoring disc for over half a year. For several days I noticed an increased amount of mucus. Should you worry about this, since the production of mucus is also an element of vaginal cleansing, etc.? I will also point out that the disc was placed correctly and I stick exactly to the dates of application and removal.

The increased amount of mucus when using the Ginoring disc is not a cause for concern - it does not affect the contraceptive effect. The hormones contained in the disc can thicken the cervical mucus, which can give the impression of more mucus. If the disc is used as directed, then contraceptive protection remains preserved.
