The gynecologist recommended me to start taking Slinda tablets from the 5th day of the cycle. In this case, since when do the tablets provide protection against pregnancy? In the leaflet there is only information about taking pills from the first day of the cycle

If you start taking Slinda on the 5th day of your cycle, contraceptive efficacy is achieved after 7 days of regular use.
