How to change Belara contraceptive pills to Dionelle ?

Hello. I take belara birth control pills The doctor changed my pills to dionelle because I have severe headaches after belari. And my question is whether when I finish the baler tablets, should I take a 7-day break and start taking new pills after these seven days or start taking new pills on the day of the first menstruation? And after changing the tablets, will I be fully protected, or will I use an additional form of protection? Thank you in advance for your reply

When changing contraceptive pills, the procedure is as follows: It is recommended to start taking Dionelle on day 1 after taking the last tablet containing the active substances of the previous combined oral contraceptive (in this case Belara), but no later than day 1 after the usual interruption in the use of tablets containing active substances or placebo as part of the previous combined oral contraceptive. If these rules are observed, there is no need for an additional contraceptive method and you will be protected from pregnancy from the beginning of the cycle.
