Does ovulation occur when using Slinda tablets?

Hello, I would like to ask about the effectiveness of Slinda contraceptive pills. I have been taking them for half a year and recently on ultrasound at the gynecologist, there were several eggs in one ovary. When I asked the gynecologist why they are, if I take pills, he said that it is nothing that they are, that they will not grow to the right size. However, I was a little worried and I would like to ask what is the effectiveness of these tablets and whether such ovulation actually happens. Best regards

Properly used contraceptive pills Slinda are a very effective method of preventing pregnancy. However, no method is 100% certain. You can find more information here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/61445/slinda-czy-tabletki-jednoskladnikowe-skutecznie-chronia-przed-ciaza There are up to 2 million eggs in the ovaries at birth. During a woman's lifetime, only 400-500 mature cells will be released. Hormonal contraception blocks ovulation - there is no development of cells to the extent that they can mature and release into the fallopian tube.
