Can the intensity of my bleeding decrease after I start taking Zoely?

Good morning, I started using Zoely birth control pills on the first day of menstruation. The first two days of menstruation were as usual, but on the 3rd day my period began to weaken, as if it was closer to the end. Is this a normal side effect of pills?
