Breast pain and tenderness and decreased sex drive may occur in 1 to 10 in every 100 women using the Mirena system. Such effects may or may not occur and it is difficult to answer in advance whether they can appear in you. Mirena is an intrauterine system containing a hormone from the group of progestins. Unfortunately, you did not specify what pills you tolerated badly, so it is difficult for me to compare their composition with what Mirena contains. As I mentioned, the side effects are individual.
