Can I start using the next pack of Yasmin at 5 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.? Am I protected from pregnancy during the 7-day break?

Hello. I am in the middle of a 7-day break of taking Yasmin tablets. I took the last tablet on Saturday, so the next tablet starting a new blister I have to take next Sunday. My question is: can I take the pill on Sunday, e.g. at 5 p.m., given that I used to take it at 10 p.m.? And am I protected all Sunday until I take the pill, because it will be the 8th day? Best regards.

There are no contraindications to start taking Yasmin earlier than usual. All tablets from the new blister should be used at the new fixed time (5 p.m.). If you start using Yasmin on Sunday, before 10 p.m. you are protected, also during a 7-day break: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/84756/yasmin-tabletki-powlekane/apteki More about how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
