Will taking analgesics or antispasmodics (No-Spa) affect the effectiveness of Polprazole used on an empty stomach?
Hi taking porplazol keeping an interval before a meal or when I eat breakfast and there is a stomach pain I can take an analgesic or nospe or will it affect the effect of the drug? I ask because once I had severe pain when I took on an empty stomach polprazole pain occurred only after a meal was short-lived

Taking an analgesic or diastolic drug will not affect the effect of Polprazole taken in the morning on an empty stomach. It is true that Polprazole is best taken before eating, however, if in your case it is accompanied by abdominal pain - the drug can be taken during breakfast. Then it will work a bit weaker, but this will avoid the use of additional drugs - e.g. painkillers, which can additionally irritate the stomach. Drotaverine (No-Spa) can be used, while severe pain after taking omeprazole is rare. If the problem worsens or persists, consult your doctor to change to another active substance, e.g. dexlansoprazole (Dexilant).
