Muscle pain is a common side effect of Telmizek. On average, 1 in 100 patients using this medicine reports them. These symptoms may be associated with impaired water and electrolyte balance - especially the concentration of potassium in the blood - then it may be necessary to limit potassium in the daily diet. Symptoms should also disappear after discontinuation of treatment. Nevertheless, the drug should not be discontinued without consulting a doctor. The observed side effect of the therapy should be reported to the doctor. Perhaps a specialist will prescribe a blood test for potassium.
