How to properly change Vines contraceptive pills to Evra patches?

good morning or as I used before contraceptive pills vines and after taking placebo pills (4 days) and now how do I use evra patches and stick after this break as a continuation of pills I have to protect myself? am I protected

If you change the type of contraception used from Vines contraceptive pills to Evra patches, you should wait until menstrual bleeding occurs. If you have applied the patch within 24 hours from the moment of bleeding, you are protected from Day 1 of using the patch.
