Hello. After an 8-month break, I returned to birth control pills. 3 days ago I got my period and with that day I started using Vines tablets. Am I already normally protected from pregnancy? I do not know if after the break it works the same as normal when starting the first time. He takes the same pills as he used to.

If you did not use hormone-containing contraceptives in the previous month, you should have started taking Vines on the first day of your cycle (i.e. on the first day of menstrual bleeding). According to the leaflet Vines: "If the use of Vines is started on the first day of menstrual bleeding, it immediately protects against pregnancy." For the way the contraceptive pills work, it does not matter that you take the same product again after a break. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
