Is it normal that with Slinda tablets I have two bleedings a month?
Intermuscular bleeding with contraception Slinda I have been taking slinda pills for over 7 months and it happens that I have two menstrual periods a month. This is not spotting, but normal bleeding with clots, which usually lasts 4 days. Is it normal when taking these pills?

Because Slinda is a single-component drug, the bleeding profile may not be regular. The disadvantage of using Slinda is the occurrence of irregular bleeding from the genital tract when taking it. Bleeding may also not occur at all. In general, only some women have withdrawal bleeding that occurs within 4 days while taking placebo tablets of Slinda and lasts up to 8 consecutive days. In most women, they are most common in the first cycles and this frequency decreases during the use of the drug. In one study, after 9 months of tablet use, withdrawal bleeding was reported in less than 20% of women using Slinda. If bleeding is very frequent and irregular, you should consider using another method of contraception, especially if it is difficult for you to accept.
