Can vomiting after taking the Belara pill affect the effectiveness of contraceptive protection?

According to the Belara Summary of Product Characteristics, if vomiting occurs within 4 hours after taking the tablet, this may affect the effectiveness of contraception. In your case, vomiting occurred after 5.5 hours, and the active substances contained in the drug are absorbed quickly and almost completely (the maximum plasma concentration is reached after 1-2 hours), so this should not affect the effectiveness of contraceptive protection. You should continue taking the tablets as before, there is no need for an additional tablet.
