There are some interactions between the drugs in the question, but in general this is not a contraindication to the simultaneous use of these drugs. However, they can only be used if they have been prescribed by the same doctor or if the doctors prescribing these preparations have been informed about what other medicines the patient is already taking. Such a combination in therapy may intensify the diuretic effect of hydrochlorothiazide (one of the components of Telmizek HCT), which affects the increased risk of dehydration and hypotension. The patient should be monitored for normal blood pressure values. The combined use of these medicines may be therapeutically beneficial, the patient should be closely monitored for signs of side effects during the use of the combination.
