Good morning, I've been struggling with hypothyroidism since I was pregnant. I take Letrox, currently 125 and 100 per shift. After pregnancy, I use NuvaRing. Unfortunately, despite medication, diet and exercise, my weight is systematically growing. This has been going on for 6 years. Could it be related to the contraceptive method used? What tests should I do to see if it's right for me? I will be grateful for your help and response.

Weight gain with Nuvaring is observed quite frequently among patients (it occurs in 1 to 10 out of 100 patients). There are no studies that would give the opportunity to check whether a given method of contraception is "suitable" for a given patient. The only way you can find out if weight gain is related to the disc is to give up this method of contraception for some time and observe your body. It is worth going with this issue to your gynecologist. I enclose the leaflet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/55364/nuvaring-przyrzad/charakterystyka-produktu
