How quickly does escitalopram start to work?
Hello, after what time pralex works, for 5 days I took a dose of 5mg, then I went to 10mg I take 5 days and I do not feel improvement I was prescribed it for anxiety. Thank you

It is estimated that the effect of escitalopram contained in Pralex is observed within 2-4 weeks of the start of therapy. Some patients in the first weeks of treatment, instead of improvement, may experience a temporary deterioration in mood, which is due to an increase in serotonin concentrations.
