Is the continuity of contraception maintained when changing Liberelle to Drovelis?

Hi, is the change of liberelle pills to drovelis after a 7-day break for withdrawal maintained the continuity of contraception?

Yes, the effectiveness is maintained from the 8th day. You have followed the recommendations of the manufacturer, who when changing another medicine to Drovelis informs about the continuity of contraception. If you feel afraid of getting pregnant during the change of the preparation, please use an additional method of contraception for the first 7 days after the change.

Thank you for your reply. The so-called ordinary break quoted by you, i.e. a 7-day break for withdrawal bleeding. Then the droveris tablet is taken on the 8th day after this break. And contraception is preserved. I understand correctly?. And if you change the tablets from stronger (liberelle) to weaker (droveris) in this way, does it also retain full protection immediately from this 8th day?

When changing another contraceptive to drovelis, it should be started after taking the last tablet of the previous preparation, at the latest on the first day after the usual break in the use of pills, then the continuity of contraception is maintained.
