Hello, I have mild bronchial asthma. Can I take the "day after" pill, specifically EllaOne? In the instructions there is information about the fact that it is not recommended to take during severe and chronic asthma, and what does it look like during mild asthma and what can be the effects?

Asthma itself is not a contraindication to the use of EllaOne tablet. The manufacturer states that "The use of ellaOne is not recommended in women with severe asthma treated with oral glucocorticosteroid." Because oral glucocorticosteroids that are used to treat acute asthma interfere with the action of the EllOne tablet - these drugs should not be combined. With "mild asthma" - that is, when the patient's condition does not require the administration of oral steroids, you can take a tablet of EllaOne.
