Then the drug provides immediate protection against pregnancy. You can also take the first tablet from the 2nd to the 5th day of the cycle, but in this case you should use additional protective measures, e.g. condoms for the first seven days. The first day of menstruation is considered to be the day of the appearance of bleeding - an outflow in a noticeable, larger amount of blood of red color. Then it is best not to delay taking the tablet until 24 hours have passed, especially since the diagnosis of the beginning of bleeding may be subjective, sometimes also a woman does not immediately notice that she has received menstruation.
