What is the reason for such a severe withdrawal bleeding?

For 4 months I have been taking naraya plus contraceptive pills. For 3 months, withdrawal bleeding was ok, because I was prescribed heavy menstruation. However, now my 4 bleeding is very abundant, that I had to start taking exacyl. What is the reason for such a severe withdrawal bleeding?

Hormonal contraception more often relieves the course of menstrual bleeding, because it leads to anemization of the endometrium - if the mucosa of the uterine cavity is thinner, then there is less "material" that can exfoliate in the course of withdrawal bleeding. However, very common side effects (may affect 1 to 10 in 1,000 users) may be very heavy bleeding. Excessive bleeding is associated with the individual response of the endometrium of the uterus to sex hormones and the reception of signals "grow" and "do not grow". It is difficult to answer unequivocally whether such an effect took place in your case. In my opinion, it is worth excessively abundant bleeding (required the use of the drug) to consult a gynecologist.
