With high triglyceride levels, will the doctor stop treatment or introduce a triglyceride-lowering drug?

If at the beginning of the treatment the number of triglycerides was at the right level, but after some time they increased sharply, can the doctor stop the treatment, or rather introduce a drug that lowers triglycerides? (liver tests and normal cholesterol)

As I understand it, it is about the use of the drug Izotek, but it is difficult for me to answer for the attending physician what decision he will make. It must analyse the benefit-risk balance in your individual case. He may modify the dose of the drug with isotretinoin, end the course of treatment or propose to continue treatment with a change in lifestyle and the inclusion of a drug that lowers triglycerides. I enclose additional information: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/wysoki-cholesterol
