Hello, I took Milvane tablets, but due to the withdrawal of them, the doctor changed them to Drovelis tablets. After changing contraception, I did not get menstruation but I have spotting. Is this normal?

When using Drovelis - as with other combined oral contraceptives - irregular bleeding or spotting may occur at the beginning of use. In general, we are talking about the first three months. According to the information on the drug, "the percentage of women using Drovelis who had spotting or intracyclic bleeding was between 14 and 20%". At the same time, in a small percentage of women (6-8%), withdrawal bleeding may not occur during the placebo tablet phase. If you have taken the medicine correctly, the probability of pregnancy is small. With errors in use or if two consecutive withdrawal bleedings do not occur, make sure that you have not become pregnant before starting another Drovelis blister.
