How long can spotting and midcyclic bleeding last after inserting the Mirena IUD? What are they caused by?
Hello I have put on for 5 days hormonal insert "Mirena"My since then I had four days of spotting and on the fifth day I got bleeding. Is such spotting and bleeding non-stop every day normal? How long will it last? And why do spotting and bleeding occur? Thank you for your reply.

Spotting and midcyclic bleeding may persist for the first 3-6 months. These side effects occur in more than 1 in 10 women using Mirena and are associated m.in with the body's adaptation to hormonal changes. Hello, 3 years ago I put on sprirale and for a few days I have had spotting from the blood. What can it mean? Or is it normal
I, on the other hand, after putting on Mirena have a kind of inflammation and it gets a little dirty, is it normal?
As in the lady with these bleedings I have an IUD put on in March and I had menstruation normally later a few days of spotting and from July after a month a week of calm and then bleeding again as for the period I was on a visit to the gynecologist checked and said that everything is ok. But I already matched today I wrote to the gynecologist it offered to clean the uterus but I do not know what is the reason for this since everything was ok. I'm seriously thinking about pulling out the insert because it's already very tiring
