Since it is a three-component preparation, each of the components begins to act at a slightly different time. Antihypertensive effect occurs already one hour after taking the tablet. The effect leading to lowering cholesterol levels is achieved within a week of starting treatment, and 90% of the complete response occurs within 2 weeks. A complete response to treatment usually occurs within 4 weeks and persists after this time.
