I am currently taking Ulcamed. In addition, the bacterium Proteus mirabilis was detected in my urine. The doctor prescribed me the antibiotic Bactrim in syrup. Unfortunately, I forgot to inform the doctor that I was taking Ulcamed. Can I take the antibiotic Bactrim during treatment with Ulcamed? If so, how to keep the distance between Ulcamed and Bactrim? Is it better to hold off until the end of treatment with Ulcamed? Won't Bactrim weaken the effect of Ulcamed?

Yes, Ulcamed is produced.

I have a paper prescription for Ulcamed. Unfortunately, I can not buy it practically in any pharmacy. Why is this drug missing in pharmacies and when will it be available for sale?

For @Natalia: Since there are no clinically relevant drug interactions between Ulcamed and Bactrim, there is no need to consult a gastroenterologist.
I understand, thank you for your reply. So should I consult a gastreneterologist to take the antibiotic Bactrim while taking Ulcamed?

There should be no harmful interactions between the drugs mentioned by you. However, they can only be used if they have been prescribed by the same doctor or if the doctors prescribing these preparations have been informed about what other medicines the patient is already taking. Between their use, please keep a few hours break, 2-3 hours.
