What medicine can I take instead of Milvane, which is missing?

I took milvane for a very long time. Now for a few months there have been shortages in wholesalers. What can I take in return. I know there is no equivalent. Something similar. I tolerated Milvane very well for many years.

Milvane is a contraceptive drug that contains ethinylestradiol and gestodene, but is a three-phase drug, that is, the amounts of hormones in individual blister tablets are different (beige, brown and white, respectively, have a different content). There are single-phase products on the market with the same hormones, which means that each tablet contains exactly the same dose, for example: Logest, Kontracept, Sylvie 20 and Sylvie 30 or Vines. A sequential preparation, i.e. differentiated in terms of hormone doses, "imitating" the physiological cycle is, for example, Qlaira or Triquilar. However, these are not the same hormones as in Milvane. I can give this information from a pharmaceutical point of view, but I cannot answer whether you could actually take any of them in return. These are not substitutes and it is difficult to clearly assess that they are "similar", because drugs are unlikely to be compared in this way. The assessment is up to the gynecologist and probably due to the lack of Milvane he will propose a new product to you based not only on the composition or phase of the product, but also on the basis of your current state of health.
