Good morning, on Monday I skipped the Leverette contraceptive pill (7th day from the start of the package), the next day I developed nausea, lower abdominal pain and bleeding - as recommended on the leaflet I took two pills on that day; symptoms to date do not go away; In addition, in the last two weeks, as directed by my doctor, I took another gynazol, flucorta and macmirror; Are these symptoms only associated with skipping a tablet? How long can they last?

These symptoms (nausea, lower abdominal pain and bleeding) may be caused by skipping a tablet or, if you are taking a dose of Flucorta of at least 200 mg, by this medicine. Fluconazole at a minimum dose of 200 mg per day increases the concentration of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel in the blood - substances that are components of the two-component contraceptive pills Leverette. Increasing their concentration may increase the likelihood of side effects (e.g. vomiting or nausea), which may reduce the effectiveness of contraceptive pills, and thus, e.g. the appearance of bleeding. The length of the symptoms is an individual matter. I am attaching a study that may be helpful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-oslabiaja-skutecznosc-antykoncepcji
