What if I took the first Axia Conti tablet on the first day of my expected menstruation, and not when I actually got my period?

The gynecologist prescribed me Axia Conti tablets, I took the first pill on the day when I was supposed to get my period but I did not get it. What to do?

Because you did the wrong thing. Protection will not be maintained immediately. You should continue to take the contraceptive pills even if bleeding occurs in the meantime. Throughout the first Axia Conti blister, an additional form of protection in the form of a condom should be used. Full protection will be provided only when using tablets from a new blister. Correctly, the first tablet should have been taken not on the day of the expected menstruation, but on the day when the bleeding actually appeared. Then protection is provided from the first tablet.
