Izovag can be used, but the condition of the disc should be monitored during this time. It can be removed from time to time to check for signs of damage. Then the disc should be washed with cold or lukewarm water and put on again. The use of vaginal antifungal agents slightly increases the risk of possible damage to the vaginal disc.
