Should I take Pregabalin Stada if I am afraid of side effects?

Hello. I have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder with anxiety attacks [panic disorder] for over a year I have been taking escitil currently 20 mg. The psychiatrist now prescribed me a pregabalin flock of 75mg and told me to take 1 tab before bedtime. However, I read about undesirable side effects like dizziness and feeling under the influence of alcohol, now I'm afraid to start taking this drug. What to do?

Any medicine can cause side effects, but that doesn't mean you're sure you'll get them. All known side effects are described in the leaflet because this is the law and for reasons of patient safety. Of course, you should pay attention to all possible alarming signals, but the fear of therapy is not a good adviser: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-bac-sie-dzialan-niepozadanych-lekow We use drugs primarily to help, not to harm. Pregabalin was probably prescribed to complement therapy and achieve an optimal effect. Please take into account that untreated anxiety disorder will also have (unlike side effects - with a high probability) adverse effects on your psyche and quality of life. Currently, there are no reasons to dissuade you from therapy - you should comply with the doctor's recommendations. If you experience any disturbing symptoms, the therapy can always be changed or modified.
