Good morning, When looking for the best replacements for contraceptive pills (due to the lack of availability of Vines pills in England), is it more important to find pills containing exactly the same active substances, or the most similar doses of hormones?

Taking into account the statements of patients on our forum, a more common case is worse tolerance of a contraceptive preparation with other active substances than a change to a drug with the same composition, and with a different content of active compounds.
Unfortunately, I do not have the opportunity to buy the equivalent of the drug Vines, as according to the information that I managed to get, they are not on sale here. My question is whether there is data suggesting whether the more likely reason for the worse tolerance/more side effects when changing pills is a higher dose of hormones or a worse tolerance of individual active ingredients.

In order for two drugs to be their substitutes, they must have exactly the same active substances in exactly the same dosage. There is nothing that can be described as "best substitutes" - this is a purely subjective concept. If two drugs have similar doses or similar active substances are not their counterparts: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow
