Good morning, does pregabalin affect (lower or raise) THS, FT3, FT4, tertosterone, shgb or dhea? I suffer from hypothyroidism and hyperandrogenism, and since I take pregabalin (2 x 75 mg) I am constantly hot and sweat terribly, I do not know whether I should go to a neurologist or to an endocrinologist and what tests to do before the visit?

So far, there has been no effect of pregabalin on TSH, fT3, fT4, Testosterone, SHGB or DHEA levels. Pregabalin may cause sweating, hot flashes. These are side effects reported by patients using the preparation. I quote one of the leaflets of the preparation with pregabalin: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/89283/pregabalin-sandoz-kapsulki/ulotka/228844 You can perform thyroid control tests and consult them with an endocrinologist. You can also consult a neurologist who has recommended the use of Pregabalin. I encourage you to describe the symptoms that accompany you. The doctor will prescribe appropriate therapeutic treatment. I also encourage you to report the occurrence of side effects of the preparation. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote about how and why to report side effects in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane
