Stosując takie połączenie należy mieć na uwadze, iż Neurotop retard obniża skuteczność sildenafilu (substancji czynnej leku Mensil). Dlatego w takim połączeniu preparat może nie być skuteczny lub po konsultacji z lekarzem można zażyć większą, niż dostępna bez recepty dawkę sildenafilu.
Dodatkowo łączenie tych leków zwiększa ryzyko niedociśnienia, które może objawiać się, m.in. jako osłabienie, ból głowy i zmęczenie.
