What are the chances of pregnancy if I had sex on the day of ovulation?
A few days ago there was intercourse with my boyfriend. I didn't want it and it was my first time, I was very tense and stressed so my partner barely got in me and it was maybe 3 times. Unfortunately, he did it without a condom, but it was very far from ejaculation. After about 12 hours of intercourse I took EllaOne. Unfortunately, I probably had ovulation on the day of intercourse. Since I took the pill I have lower abdomen pain and brown mucus, I know that this may be due to the side effects of the tablet. I'm terrified, what are the chances of getting pregnant? I wait until Sunday to do the test because then it will be about 9 days from intercourse.

Działanie tabletki ellaOne polega na opóźnianiu wystąpienia owulacji. Jeśli współżyła Pani w dzień owulacji, to lek nie ma szansy w tym zakresie zadziałać, gdyż nie opóźni już uwolnienia komórki jajowej. Należy jednak pamiętać, że na wystąpienie owulacji wpływ ma bardzo wiele czynników i jajeczkowanie wcale nie musi wystąpić w dniu, w którym Pani to założyła.
W tym wypadku szanse na ciążę są, gdyż w preejakulacie również występują plemniki zdolne do zapłodnienia, tylko jest ich mniej niż w spermie.
Test ciążowy należy wykonać minimum 14 dni po stosunku, chyba że będzie to test ultraczuły:
